Lesson Pricing and Policies
Below is the nitty gritty on the business side of things. In addition to the pricing, make sure to read the sections on the cancellation policy and the recommended equipment for Skype Lessons.
Lesson Pricing:
1 Half Hour Lesson: $40 4 Half Hour Lessons: $140
1 Hour Lesson: $80 4 Hour Lessons: $260
4 One Hour Diatonic 7-Tone Skype Lessons: $225
Value Packages:
Buying a larger block of lessons is a great way to create a sense of commitment, as well as creating a long term student/teacher relationship, two things that I think are crucial to success on the guitar. The larger packages also represent a discount vs. paying for individual lessons or months. If you're interested in a longer package, but we've never worked together before, I offer a 15-20 min meet and greet to make sure we've got a good fit.
3 Month Package (12 Half Hour Lessons): $360
Ideal for those looking to get started and work through my beginner program. At the conclusion of the 3 month package you can continue to book successive months at the discounted rate.
6 Month Package (24 Half Hour Lessons): $700
For the truly serious student. If you know you're in it to win it, this is the way to get the best value. Just like the 3 month package, once you've booked the 6 month package you can continue to book successive months at the discounted rate.
Payment and Cancellation Policy:
Payment is due prior to the start of the first lesson of each block. Once paid, the lesson fee is non-refundable. All lessons must be cancelled or rescheduled with 24 hour notice. In the event of illness or emergency, lessons will be rescheduled at my discretion. No shows will forfeit the lesson fee for that session.
Virtual Lesson Policies:
My preferred platform for virtual lessons is Skype as I have found the sound quality and reliability superior to other platforms, however I can also teach via Zoom, Facetime, or Google Hangouts. A stable internet connection is required, and it's recommended that you invest in a high quality webcam and outboard microphone to get the best results. If a lesson needs to be rescheduled due to connection issues, it will be rescheduled at my discretion.
